    1.1 Global Manufacturing Remains at a Low Level

In January, the global economic index remained low, with major economies such as China, the European Union, Germany, and the United Kingdom still below the warning line, showing an overall weak recovery trend.

    1.2 The Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry Is Gradually Recovering

From January to November 2023, China's electronic information manufacturing industry saw an accelerated recovery in production, a sustained narrowing in export decline, an accelerated recovery in efficiency, a slight decline in investment, and an increase in revenue in multiple regions.

    1.3 Semiconductor Sales Hit a Low Point

According to SIA data, global semiconductor sales in 2023 are expected to be approximately $520 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 9.4%. It is worth noting that as of December 2023, global semiconductor sales have achieved month on month growth for the tenth consecutive month, and chip demand has shown a clear upward trend. It is expected that the global semiconductor market will rebound strongly in 2024.

From the perspective of integrated circuit production, the global integrated circuit production in December was about 106.2 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 8.7%. China's production reached 36.15 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 34%, and the trend of continuous recovery in production is evident.
